Home Opener Day

makes me happy.

The boys of summer returned to Toronto yesterday and we celebrated their arrival with a spectacular day.

Firstly, Rob came over and we finished off our most fabulous collection of Refurbished Retro Frames to date!

To beat the drum, we jumped in the hot tub for a late afternoon, sun kissed soak.

A couple showers and one baby sitter saw us hoofing it off to the subway.

Check out my new blue kicks. Do they say, "Go Jays Go!" or what?

Kev was showing his support with a cap I had gifted him with a couple years ago. Looking good.

So absorbed with our uninterrupted adult conversation were we, our designated subway stop slipped right by us.

Still got lots to say to each other. I believe that's a good thing, yes?

While I was excited to see some stolen bags and home team dingers,

when all was said and done,

drinking some suds with my girls,

was really where it was at.

Cutting out in the eighth didn't suck either,

as Kev and I hustled off to the subway, made it to our stop in time to pick up a pizza and race home.

No really. We sprinted home. Random exercise people... random exercise.

Now does that smell like a spectacular day or what?

Yep, looks (and smells) like a great day!

So nice to get away from the little one for awhile, eh?

And even nicer to get home to them! :)
