Two Eggs Please

makes me happy.

Saturday, early afternoon, after getting the Byrd down for her nap, Kev and jumped in the car and started our hour and a half drive north to Patti and Paul's wedding.

The first half hour of the drive was kind of quite. We were both tired from the night before, Byrdie had us up from 2am til 5am, and honestly, I think we were just enjoy the quiet. You know, a few precious moments without someone asking you the hows, whys, and whats of EVERYTHING they see or hear.

But then we started playing dueling DJs with the ipod and Kev put on this song...

and I started to get excited!

We were going to a wedding,

on a lake,

the sun was shining,

there were lots of fun people we knew, and most importantly...

Paul and Patti were getting married!

Don't you just love weddings?

Especially when the love and chemistry is just busting out of the happy couple.

As is the case with these two.

There is no doubt in my mind they will create a long and magical life together.

Rumour has it the celebrations went long...

into the next morning.

Ours was a different kind of partying.

We managed to pack all our wedding fun into 10 hours. Home by midnight and at the Ontario Science Centre bright and early Sunday for a morning full of baffling bewilderment, boisterous bellows, and endless beguilement with balls.

Different... but the same.

The post title.
